General
basic color theory definition
Basic color theory says that the three primary colors - red,
yellow and
blue - cannot be made from other colors. Instead, all three colors are mixed in various ways to create all other colors. Secondary colors - green,
orange and purple - are made from mixing the primary colors together. And tertiary colors - yellow/orange, yellow/green, red/orange, blue/green, and blue/violet are made from mixing the secondary colors.
